Four-time NHRA Pro Stock world champion Greg Anderson's HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Camaro was the car to beat on Monday at the rain-delayed conclusion of the Mopar Express Lane NHRA SpringNationals. It all came down to his starting-line reaction in round two at Houston Raceway Park, and this time, the win light illuminated in the lane of KB Racing teammate Deric Kramer. Anderson, however, leaves Houston with the points lead and the quickest Pro Stocker in NHRA's Camping World Drag Racing Series.

 

Kyle Larson finished second in the COTA 231 Sunday at Circuit of The Americas – his third consecutive runner-up finish and fifth top-two finish in 14 events this season. Larson moved up to third in the NASCAR Cup Series driver standings and is now 110 markers behind the leader.

On Friday, May 21, a group of local students visited the K1 Speed Go Kart track in Austin, Texas. It wouldn’t be considered an unusual outing for the group of young motor enthusiasts, who are all part of the automotive technology program at their school, except for the fact that they wouldn’t just be racing each other that day. Their visit was part of a Hendrick, Get Set. Go! event and they would get the chance to race NASCAR driver Kyle Larson and celebrate their school receiving a $10,000 STEM award.

Kyle Larson finished second in the Darlington 400 Sunday at Darlington Raceway - his third top-two finish in 12 events this season. The No. 5 HendrickCars.com Throwback Chevrolet finished fourth in stage one and fifth in stage two.

Larson moved up three positions in the NASCAR Cup Series driver standings and is now sixth, 144 markers behind the leader.

Kyle Larson led a race-high 132 laps in Sunday's Kansas 400 at Kansas Speedway, but was involved in a late-race incident and finished 19th. Larson is ninth in the NASCAR Cup Series driver standings, 144 markers behind the leader.
 

Kyle Larson started 12th in the Talladega 500 on Sunday. However, he reported high engine water temperatures on lap one and brought the No. 5 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet to the attention of the No. 5 crew one lap later. After the engine water cooled, the crew sent Larson back on track but the damage to the engine was terminal and he completed only three laps in the 188-lap event.

Kyle Larson started sixth in the Richmond 400 on Sunday, but quickly lost positions with a car that had “no grip” off the corners. Crew chief Cliff Daniels called for major chassis adjustments during a lap-30 competition caution pit stop, but the handling did not improve and Larson finished stage one in 23rd.
