Hendrick Porsche in Charlotte, North Carolina has been a longtime supporter of the 24Foundation and their signature bike race fundraising event. Although this year's event will look a little different due to COVID-19 concerns, Hendrick Porsche's dedication is stronger than ever. The dealership is providing a 2020 Taycan the Survivor Lap pace car for the race, and has even turned the vehicle into a fundraiser for their team to further support the 24Foundation and its mission to support cancer patients.

Our world is facing many challenges, but Hendrick Automotive Group is proving that every challenge is an opportunity to win. From market-wide campaigns to individual efforts, our teammates immediately saw the need to get involved and care for their communities in a variety of ways. Hendrick Automotive Group celebrates Earth Day 2019 with a look at our efforts towards environmental sustainability over the past year.

A series of large tornadoes touched down in West Middle Tennessee on the night of March 2 and into the morning of March 3, 2020, destroying many lives and businesses with it. While news of the spread and management of Covid-19 quickly took over the headlines, many across the Nashville community were instead beginning the long road to clean-up and rebuild. Hendrick Automotive Group’s Franklin, TN dealerships and their teammates were fortunate enough to not be harmed, so they quickly determined how they could come together to best help their community.

Recognizing and celebrating success is a key part of Hendrick Automotive Group culture. It helps drive our passion for winning, it holds people accountable for their results and it motivates us to commit to continuous improvement. In addition to awards based on performance, many of our dealerships have found ways to celebrate employees who excel in other areas. From living out our core values, to encouraging a spirit of teamwork and always going the extra mile, these actions build the foundation for success and deserve to be spotlighted.

Relationships and connections are so important in today's world, and building relationships in the community is something Hendrick Automotive Group strives for on a daily basis. Several dealerships are involved with an organization called the Boys to Men Foundation (BTM) and have turned their initial connections into deep, personal relationships with local students.

Our 10,000 teammates surpassed our goal of collecting one meal each to share around the country and instead fed more than 10,500 families.

There's nothing that unites Hendrick teammates more than coming together to support a good cause. October was a colorful example of this, as dealerships turned pink for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. With 131 franchises and 10,000 employees across the country, Hendrick used its visibility to raise awareness of the disease, the importance of early detection and ways people can join the fight against cancer.

By working together, you can accomplish some amazing things. It’s a core value at Hendrick Automotive Group and a driving force behind an incredible new food bank alliance called, Feeding the Carolinas. Recently, this newly formed North Carolina and South Carolina Food Bank alliance kicked things off by holding a media conference at Hendrick Motorsports in Concord, North Carolina highlighting the incredible ways local food banks across both states worked together to help our company deliver 5,100 traditional Thanksgiving meals to families in need during the holiday season.

Our Hendrick Automotive Group teammates always work hard to make sure we end the year on a great note. So when Keri Newsom envisioned her December, she was focused on making sure her team at Honda of Concord was set to have a successful month. Little did she know her team at Honda of Concord was also preparing to make this month one she would never forget.
