(July 25, 2021) – Pro Stock joined NHRA's famed Western Swing this weekend at Sonoma Raceway for the 33rd annual NHRA Sonoma Nationals, and Greg Anderson wasted no time in getting down to business. The driver of the No. 5 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE finished sixth in stage one and fourth in stage two. Larson was set to take over the points lead before the penalty, but now he remains second in the driver point standings, 10 markers behind the leader.
 

On Sunday at Road America, Kyle Larson finished 16th after a spin while running fourth just six laps from the end of the 62-lap race. The driver of the No. 5 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE finished third in stage one and fourth in stage two. Larson was set to take over the points lead before the late-race spin. He remains second in the driver point standings, only three markers behind the leader.
