SONOMA, Calif. (July 25, 2021) – Pro Stock joined NHRA's famed Western Swing this weekend at Sonoma Raceway for the 33rd annual NHRA Sonoma Nationals, and Greg Anderson wasted no time in getting down to business. The driver of the HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Camaro rocketed to his seventh No. 1 qualifier award of the season in just eight races, and on Sunday in California wine country, points leader Anderson raced to the semifinals to protect his stance at the top of the pack.

As part of the dealership’s ongoing community efforts, Hendrick Volvo Cars of Charleston announced a formal partnership with the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office on Monday, July 19. The dealership donated a branded car that will help officers engage with the community to build positive relationships that go beyond policing.

On Sunday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Kyle Larson started 10th and finished seventh in the rain-delayed race that was shortened in length due to darkness. On Sunday at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Kyle Larson finished 18th after serving a late-race pit road speeding penalty while running fourth that cost him a top-five finish. The driver of the No. 5 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE finished sixth in stage one and fourth in stage two. Larson was set to take over the points lead before the penalty, but now he remains second in the driver point standings, 10 markers behind the leader.
 

On Sunday at Road America, Kyle Larson finished 16th after a spin while running fourth just six laps from the end of the 62-lap race. The driver of the No. 5 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE finished third in stage one and fourth in stage two. Larson was set to take over the points lead before the late-race spin. He remains second in the driver point standings, only three markers behind the leader.
