Race Report: Darlington 400 at Darlington Raceway

Kyle Larson finished second in the Darlington 400 Sunday at Darlington Raceway - his third top-two finish in 12 events this season. The No. 5 HendrickCars.com Throwback Chevrolet finished fourth in stage one and fifth in stage two.

Larson moved up three positions in the NASCAR Cup Series driver standings and is now sixth, 144 markers behind the leader.

Race Report: Kansas Speedway

Kyle Larson led a race-high 132 laps in Sunday's Kansas 400 at Kansas Speedway, but was involved in a late-race incident and finished 19th. The drive of the No. 5 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet finished second in stage one and first in stage 2, despite starting the race from 32nd. Larson is ninth in the NASCAR Cup Series driver standings, 144 markers behind the leader.

Race Report: Talladega 500

Kyle Larson started 12th in the Talladega 500 on Sunday. However, he reported high engine water temperatures on lap one and brought the No. 5 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet to the attention of the No. 5 crew one lap later. After the engine water cooled, the crew sent Larson back on track but the damage to the engine was terminal and he completed only three laps in the 188-lap event.

Race Report: Richmond 400

Kyle Larson started sixth in the Richmond 400 on Sunday, but quickly lost positions with a car that had “no grip” off the corners. Crew chief Cliff Daniels called for major chassis adjustments during a lap-30 competition caution pit stop, but the handling did not improve and Larson finished stage one in 23rd.

Race Results: Martinsville 500

After a rain delay Saturday night at the Virginia short track, the Martinsville 500 race restarted Sunday afternoon under sunny skies. When stage one ended at lap 130, Kyle Larson and the No. 5 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet was up to fifth, and finished stage two in P13. He worked his way past competitors up to fifth before the day’s final caution waved at lap 451.

Race Results: Atlanta 500

In Sunday’s Atlanta 500, Kyle Larson moved from his sixth starting spot up to second before the day’s first caution waved at lap 25, and quickly took control of the race. A quick four-tire pit stop by the No. 5 crew allowed Larson to win the race off pit road, and he restarted as the leader on lap 30. Larson remained out front, winning both Stage 1 and Stage 2.

Race Results: Instacart 500 at Phoenix Raceway

Kyle Larson, fresh off his victory last weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, was scheduled to start second in the Instacart 500 at Phoenix Raceway on Sunday, March 14. However, he was forced to start at the rear of the 38-car field as a penalty was assessed by NASCAR because his No. 5 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet took three attempts to pass technical inspection Saturday evening. Larson was not deterred and quickly moved through the field once the green flag waved, finishing seventh at the end of the race.

Kyle Larson Wins In No. 5 HendrickCars.com Chevy Camaro at Las Vegas

Kyle Larson and the No. 5 HendrickCars.Com Chevrolet Camaro won Sunday's 400-miler at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It was Larson's first win with Hendrick Motorsports and his seventh career NASCAR Cup Series victory, and Crew Chief Cliff Daniels' first win as a crew chief.

“Cliff and everybody did a great job preparing this car. It was so much fun to drive. I could go wherever I wanted to. But thanks to Mr. Hendrick, Jeff Gordon, and everybody at Hendrick Motorsports for the amazing opportunity. This is definitely special," said Kyle Larson.
