Hendrick Automotive Group was recently recognized for our commitment to putting people first, earning a spot in the 2025-2026 U.S. News Best Companies to Work For ratings while achieving the highest mark among all North Carolina companies evaluated.

One of the special things about the holidays are all the memories associated with the season. Our teammates at North Charlotte’s (NC) Audi Northlake feel the same, as each enjoy the season from very different perspectives. So, we are sharing a few of their holiday stories and get everyone into the holiday spirit.

Charlotte-based City Chevrolet, one of the most recognized dealerships in the United States, is also one of the nation’s best. Recently, Rick Hendrick (Hendrick Automotive Group chairman and CEO) was on hand to celebrate the dealership’s 13th Chevrolet ^“Dealer of the Year” Award with a special luncheon inside the showroom. It was the dealerships seventh-consecutive “Dealer of the Year’ recognition.

After historic winter storms devastated the state, thousands of pounds of emergency supplies were loaded onto Hendrick jets and delivered to our teammates in Texas, thanks to the compassion and teamwork of employees across the country.

Multiple deliveries of water, food, power generators and personal care items were organized and distributed to those who needed it most, thanks to volunteers from dealerships in Charlotte and Concord, Hendrick Motorsports, our dealerships in Texas and the Hendrick Automotive Group leadership team.

Kristen Bowen’s Hendrick journey has been 10+ years in the making, and it has led her through every level of the dealership. She started as a receptionist in 2008, but she is now one of Hendrick Automotive Group’s newest general managers and an emerging female leader in the industry.

When Veterans Day rolls around each November, we are reminded of how lucky we are to work alongside so many brave teammates who served their country in the armed forces. Many dealerships host special events to show their appreciation for these employees, and provide them the chance to come together as fellow veterans.

15 Hendrick Automotive Group dealerships made the list of “Best Dealerships To Work For” this year, the most in company history. The list ranks the top 100 best places to work in automotive retail.

In the 2020 Forbes study of best employers by state, Hendrick Automotive Group placed 24 out of 100 ranked in North Carolina. Hendrick Automotive Group is one of the few automotive retail organizations cited throughout the study, with the final list including 1,461 employers that received the greatest number of recommendations in each of the 50 states and the District of Columbia.

For its second annual ranking, Forbes partnered with market research company Statistica to survey 80,000 people at companies with 500+ employees to rank the organizations based on feedback.
