Kyle Larson and the No. 5 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet team were victorious at Darlington Raceway, claiming victory in the annual Southern 500 race. The win moves Larson & Co. to the next round of the NASCAR playoffs.

Greg Anderson's HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Camaro was blisteringly quick at the 41st annual Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals at Brainerd International Raceway, and he left the event with his first No. 1 qualifier hat of the season in testament. Although his progress on race day was halted in the quarterfinals, the Minnesota native was comforted in the knowledge that his racecar is coming into form just as the NHRA Countdown to the Championship is about to begin.

At Watkins Glen International, Kyle Larson started race weekend strong by ranking fourth fastest in Saturday’s practice, scoring a fifth-place starting position and working his way to fourth by the end of the second stage. But a speeding penalty just past halfway placed him at the rear of the field for the final 30 laps.
