Variable Operations

Sales

Sells new or used vehicles at a profit to the dealership, while ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Study: Automotive
  • Experience: Up to 3 years in Sales or Customer Service.

F & I Producer

Coordinates the sale of finance and insurance programs to customers. Works with lenders and financial institution to provide financial services to dealership customers.

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Study: Automotive, Business
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in Sales, Dealership Finance, Related Laws, or AFIP Certification

Sales Manager

Leads the Sales Department in the areas of operations, sales, performance results, employee supervision, and customer satisfaction.

  • Experience: 5+ years in sales or management with knowledge of the automotive industry

General Sales Manager

Oversees the Variable Operations Departments including new and used vehicle sales, finance, and insurance, and Business Development Center (BDC).

Retail Operations Manager

Champions the variable department managers to improve operations, performance, and profitability while working with the fixed operations managers to resolve customer and process issues.

General Manager

Successfully leads the overall operation of the dealership. This includes operations, profitability, performance results, and customer satisfaction in all departments.

Service

Advisor

Sells, identifies, and documents service, maintenance, and repair service for customers,  along with scheduling service to be performed.

  • Experience: 3 to 5 years automotive or customer service
  • Knowledge of the mechanical operations of vehicles

Service Lane Manager

Supervises the service and repair of vehicles brought to the dealership. Also assists with operations, profitability, employee supervision, and customer satisfaction.

  • Experience: 3 to 5 years automotive/technical and management experience
  • Capable of diagnosing and remedying vehicle problems

Assistant Service Manager

Manages operations of the service department and the service department employees. Also assists with operations, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

  • Knowledgable of the mechanical operations of vehicles

Service Manager

Oversees the service and repair of vehicles brought to the dealership. Also manages the operations, profitability, and customer satisfaction in the Service Department.

Technician

Lube Tech

The Lube Technician is responsible for performing express lube duties on vehicles.

  • Experience: Completion of a vocation training program or 1 year of previous experience

  • Demonstratable mechanical skills and knowledge
  • Technical training or experience

Technician

Identifies necessary vehicle and performs the repair, and/or maintenance work.

  • Experience: 1 to 2 years

  • Technical training or experience

Shop Foreman

Assists and supervises technicians in identifying necessary vehicle service and performs the repair, service, and/or maintenance work.

  • Experience: Over 5 years that includes management or supervisory
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Ability to diagnose and remedy vehicle problems

Parts

Driver

Delivers and picks up parts and equipment to customers, vendors, and other locations as requested.

  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Experience: Up to 3 years in driving, delivery, or warehouse preferred

Parts Runner

Delivers parts from the Parts Department to Technicians, with an emphasis on accuracy and efficiency.

  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Experience: Up to 3 years in delivery, or warehouse preferred

Parts Counter

Sells parts to customers over-the-counter and provides necessary parts to the service department and body shop. Also places special orders.

  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Experience: Up to 3 years
  • Working knowledge of automotive parts

Assistant Parts Manager

Assists with operations of the Parts Department and supervising Parts Department employees. Also assists with inventory control, department profitability and customer satisfaction.

  • Education: Associate's Degree

Accounting

Regional Controller

Manages Consolidated Accounting Office in assigned region. Responsible for providing financial analysis for multiple dealerships in assigned region. The Regional Controller is responsible for accurately representing and keeping records on the financial condition of the dealerships in assigned region.

Senior Accounting Manager

Responsible for overseeing the administrative and financial activities of the dealership. Also, responsible for the accounting, bookkeeping and general office procedures.

Junior Accounting Associate

The Junior Accounting Associate is responsible for assisting in the reconciliation of G/L Accounts and monthly financial close. The Junior Accounting Associate assists in managing the accounting, bookkeeping and general office procedures.

Accounts Payable/Receivable

Responsible for compiling and maintaining accounts payable/receivable records.

Title Clerk

Responsible for preparing tax, title, and legal transfer documents on vehicle sales. Also responsible for costing and posting deals to accounting books.
