A meaningful moment took place on pit lane of Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Thursday. IndyCar driver Will Power presented Rick Hendrick, chairman and CEO of Hendrick Automotive Group, with a race-worn helmet from his 2023 Indianapolis 500.

In front of thousands of fans and teammates from three nearby dealerships, Kyle Larson set sailed for 500 miles from his fourth-place starting position in Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Talladega Superspeedway.

The NHRA Midwest Nationals, the third event of the NHRA Countdown to the Championship playoffs, marked the mid-point of the six-race battle for the Camping World Drag Racing Series title, and Greg Anderson and his HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Camaro came out on top. Anderson powered his way to a win for the second consecutive race and vaulted all the way up to No. 2 in the championship chase to give himself a real chance at a sixth world title.

This weekend's event at the illustrious zMAX Dragway concluded with KB Titan's Greg Anderson earning a fourth Charlotte trophy in front of family, friends, and a ton of HendrickCars.com supporters to keep the points lead in the hands of KBT.

Kyle Larson earned an 11th-place starting position for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at HendrickCars.com’s Home track – Texas Motor Speedway -- led some laps and won a stage before an incident while battling or the lead with less than 25 laps to go ended his day early.

The NHRA Countdown to the Championship began this past weekend in Reading, Pa., and the first race of the playoffs left Greg Anderson and his HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Camaro wanting more, a lot more.
