2022 Land Rover LR110 FF
Land Rover celebrated its 75th year in business by offering Hue green variants of its LR110 Defender in 2022. This particular model boasts a 5.0-liter, supercharged 518 horsepower V8 engine, powering its 0-60 time in the low 5-second range. Fitted with an eight-speed transmission (exclusive to the V8) and 14.9-inch front and rear brake rotors, drivers can feel confidence in nearly any situation. The V8 version also comes with 22-inch wheels and the company’s innovative Terrain Response 2 system, that includes low-traction launch control, air suspension, brake-activated torque vectoring and hill descent control.
An 11.4-inch curved infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities highlights the interior’s interactive technology and gadgets, including two USB charge and data ports and a now standard wireless charging pad. Additional highlights include LED lighting, heated and cooled front seats, heated rear seats, panoramic roof and parking distance control. Fans of the Land Rover Trophy may experience a few pangs of nostalgia with this one.
2023 Honda Civic “Type R”
Lot’s of fun here, as this 2023 Honda Civic “Type R” is loaded to the gills with amenities and is one of the few vehicles still offered with a manual transmission. Dialed in at 315 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque, this front-wheel-drive machine exudes driving experience with performance Brembo brakes at every corner.
Named to Car & Driver’s “10 Best” for 2023, the Civic Type R is serious at-track, but civilized enough for everyday commuting throughout the week. With improved braking and 19-inch performance wheels, the car has nine additional horses than its previous generation. 2002 Ferrari 575M Maranello
The classical front-engine V12 Ferrari in all of its glory, the 2002 Ferrari 575M Maranello is considered a modern-day classic. The updated 65-degree, mainly aluminum mount produces 508 horsepower, peaks at 5,240 rpms, and accelerates from 0-60 in 4.3 seconds. Some say launch control is pretty, pretty cool as well … just saying.
Mounted with an electronically controlled F1 gearbox, this Ferrari gives drivers an option for paddle shifting or traditional automatic driving. 2019 Renntech Mercedes AMG GT C
Whoa. This Mercedes AMG GT convertible is not for the faint of heart. For those of you who are connoisseurs of aftermarket performance, Renntech is among those on the mountaintop. While the stock AMG GT is already a dream car, this version is a one-of-one experience with more than $60,000 in custom upgrades.
The 4.0-liter, AMG tuned V8 is tuned to 550 horsepower and 502-foot pounds of torque, complete with Renntech’s aggressive aero kit in Designo Selenite Gray and red pepper Nappa leather interior.
