Three things to consider when getting a collision estimate for your vehicle

Accidents Happen.
What you choose to do next however, is up to you. While no one wants to be involved in any sort of accident, it is important to understand things you might need to consider before heading off to get that estimate.
Here are three tips to help prompt a few things you may need to think about:
ASK FOR ORIGINAL PARTS: When first going for a collision estimate on your vehicle, ask to use Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts. These original parts are designed to fit perfectly and work seamlessly with the make, model and year of your vehicle, as they are built by the manufacturer.
IS IT CERTIFIED? This is important. Before getting an estimate on your vehicle, you will want to make sure the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) or the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair (ICAR) have certified the shop. These certifications indicate the shop has met certain high standards for training, equipment and customer service.
WARRANTY CHECK: Make sure you ask about the warranty offered on the estimate as most reputable shops will offer a warranty on their repair work.
