Automotive News, the leading news source for the global automotive industry, annually recognizes 40 outstanding professionals under the age of 40 for their remarkable achievements and significant contributions to automotive retail.
Earning a spot in this year’s 40 Under 40 class and representing Hendrick Automotive Group among the industry’s emerging leaders is Milton Meeks, general manager of Mall of Georgia MINI.
Meek’s journey in the automotive industry began in 2011, when he was a student and collegiate football player at Fort Valley State University in Georgia. That summer, between his sophomore and junior years, he joined nearby Rick Hendrick Chevrolet of Buford as a sales intern. Fifteen years later, he continues to build his career with Hendrick Automotive Group.
Over the years, Meeks has held a variety of positions across multiple departments, gaining valuable experience that prepared him for his current role as general manager of Mall of Georgia MINI. Under his leadership, the dealership has enjoyed considerable success, particularly in the pre-owned market.
Meeks told Automotive News, “We are very well known for a high-end, used-car inventory in the community and lifted truck inventory. We sell anywhere from 100 to 150 pre-owned units a month, which has been a huge driver to our bottom line.”
In addition to the dealership’s performance, Meeks takes great pride in the number of customers who continue choosing Mall of Georgia MINI for their automotive needs. He credits that to the reputation he and his team have built and their commitment to serving the customer.
“We found our niche, and it’s been working,” Meeks told Automotive News.
All of us at Hendrick Automotive Group are proud to celebrate Milton and his well-deserved accomplishment. Congratulations, Milton, and thank you for your continued leadership and dedication!
