Hendrick Automotive Group Opens Second Honda Franchise in Bradenton, Florida

Hendrick Automotive Group, the largest privately held automotive retail organization in the United States, has officially opened Rick Hendrick Honda at 5904 SR 63 East in Bradenton, Florida.

The new dealership expands our company’s national Honda footprint, representing our 16th Honda franchise nationally and second in Florida. It joins Hendrick Honda Bradenton (5515 14th Street West), which opened in 1988. Both locations serve Bradenton and the surrounding communities with a world-class Honda shopping and service experience.

Hendrick Automotive Group now operates 96 dealership locations throughout the United States, including six in Florida. In addition to the two Bradenton dealerships, our statewide presence includes locations in Naples and Tallahassee.

The newly constructed 56,000-square-foot dealership facility incorporates Honda’s latest “Blue Stage” retail design language. An open concept showroom features floor-to-ceiling glass walls, polished concrete flooring, efficient LED lighting and other modern elements that create a welcoming, customer-friendly environment.

On site, Rick Hendrick Honda features an inventory of over 300 new, used and certified pre-owned vehicles. Over 30,000 additional cars, trucks and SUVs are available for purchase and nationwide delivery through HendrickCars.com.

Honda-certified technicians will serve customers in a large, climate-controlled service center featuring 31 bays outfitted with the latest tools, technology and diagnostic equipment. In addition to same-day service availability, the guest experience includes several complimentary amenities such as a comfortable lounge with free Wi-Fi and refreshments, loaner vehicles and a shuttle service to nearby destinations.

David Pierce has been named general manager of Rick Hendrick Honda and relocated to the area from Concord, North Carolina. In his 23rd year with the organization, Pierce brings more than 10 years of experience in leading Hendrick Automotive Group dealerships.
