As you’re shopping for a vehicle, it helps to fully understand and appreciate everything that’s available to you, which can be difficult with so many different vehicles offered each year. Things get even trickier when you start trying to follow all of the updates and changes that come around with new model years; sometimes these are pretty small, but they can also be a big deal.

When it comes to the Honda SUVs that you’ll find at your favorite car dealership near Atlanta, the 2026 model year is a big one with a lot to offer. We’re seeing updates for the full Honda SUV lineup, which creates a fantastic new range of options for you to enjoy driving. Let’s take a look at what these SUVs have to offer, and you’ll see why so many people are more excited about the Honda lineup than ever before.

2026 Honda HR-V: Refreshed and Updated

Kicking things off, we have the 2026 Honda HR-V; we’re going in order of where these fall in the Honda lineup, so this is your starting point when exploring different Honda SUVs. The HR-V is already an incredibly popular option, and it’s getting an update and refresh for the 2026 model year that includes a number of great features.

This is an overall refresh inside and out, so styling has changed significantly to update its looks; some of what you find will depend on the trim level you’re looking at, of course, so keep that in mind.

On the outside, you’ll find an updated exterior that includes a number of gorgeous new features and options. One of the first things you’ll notice when looking at this model next to last year’s HR-V is that each trim features new wheel designs that are quite stylish. The LX has 17-inch Pewter Gray wheels, the Sport features 18-inch Berlina Black wheels, and the EX-L rolls on 18-inch machine-finished wheels that make a bold first impression as you drive around Atlanta.

You get rear privacy glass on the starting LX trim now, along with gloss black badging on the rear tailgate of the Sport model. New colors are also available for the 2026 HR-V including Solar Silver Metallic for the LX and EX-L trims, as well as the striking Boost Blue Pearl that’s exclusive to the Sport model.

Moving inside, a number of new features will immediately catch your eye, including an impressive nine-inch infotainment display that’s standard in all models. This is two inches larger than last year’s standard screen, giving you a system that’s easier to use and faster than what was previously standard, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

A wireless phone charger is also now standard in all HR-V models, although there are still plenty of USB ports (including USB-C) throughout the interior.

If you’re looking for the nicest features available, the pinnacle EX-L trim now includes silver steering wheel spokes, dynamic climate control knob lighting, and new front footwell lighting that creates an incredibly inviting cabin.

2026 Honda CR-V: Mid-Generation Updates and Enhancements

Moving up to the CR-V, we find another Honda SUV getting a mid-generation refresh and update, much like the HR-V.

One of the highlights of this refresh is the addition of the first-ever CR-V TrailSport Hybrid model, which provides you with impressive capabilities and a rugged, dependable hybrid engine. This gives you off-road features, including all-terrain tires, standard all-wheel drive (AWD), and impressive exterior details like black and silver styling with TrailSport orange highlights. The unique Shark Gray 18-inch wheels are wrapped in Continental CrossContact all-terrain tires for incredible grip and capabilities.

With the 204-hp hybrid engine, you get a driving experience that’s ideal for your daily commute around Atlanta and making the most of your weekend. This engine gets an estimated 43 MPG in the city and 36 MPG on the highway for fuel efficiency, so you can take care of everything you need to do and then hit the trail on your days off—all with fewer stops for gas.

With the addition of this TrailSport Hybrid, you now have four different hybrid options, including the Sport Hybrid, Sport-L Hybrid, and pinnacle Sport Touring Hybrid trims. These are joined by three standard models with a turbocharged engine: the LX, EX, and EX-L.

Inside the 2026 Honda CR-V, you’ll find a number of updates and refreshed styling that look and feel great when you hit the road. A larger, nine-inch infotainment display is now standard in all CR-V models, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, plus a wireless phone charger in every trim.

Hybrid models and the EX-L get a gorgeous 10.2-inch full digital instrument display that’s 46% larger than what was previously available, giving you more information that’s easier to read and keep track of. Taking full advantage of this, the Sport Touring Hybrid model features a new Individual drive mode that you can customize.

2026 Honda Passport: Redesigned for a New Generation

As much as we love the updated models we’ve looked at so far, there’s no denying that the Passport is the star of the 2026 Honda lineup. Fully reimagined and redesigned for the 2026 model year, the Passport looks and feels better than ever on the road (and off it).

Honda has approached the Passport’s design with a new “Born Wild” concept meant to ensure its rugged looks and capabilities are better than ever before. The result is an SUV that has bold styling including broad shoulders, an impressive stance, and more; for example, flared fenders and 18-inch wheels with a wide track are standard on every Passport.

Leading the charge, however, is the incredible new Passport TrailSport trim: the most rugged and capable Honda SUV ever made that’s perfect for heading off-road. It has expanded AWD capabilities, steel underbody skid plates to protect its underside when you hit the trail, and an off-road tuned suspension.

To take things even further, the TrailSport Elite trim gives you top-level features including a new TrailWatch camera system to help you maneuver in tight spots more safely, plus perforated leather seating and a 12-speaker Bose Premium sound system. The result is an incredible off-road beast that’s also remarkably fun to drive around Atlanta.

Inside, the standard RTL model features more legroom than last year’s model, plus increased cargo space behind the front row. That gorgeous 10.2-inch full digital driver instrumentation display we saw in the CR-V is standard in all 2026 Passport models, along with a 12.3-inch infotainment screen with Google built-in, which is 54% larger than what the 2025 Passport has.

You get best-in-class comfort thanks to standard Body Stabilizing power-adjustable heated front seats to help reduce fatigue on long road trips and your daily commute. As we saw with the TrailSport Elite, higher trims elevate your experience by including heated and ventilated front seats, enhanced audio, and much more for you to enjoy as you drive each day.
