Powered by a 272-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, 280 foot pounds of torque and a ten-speed automatic transmission suited for both spirited handling and comfortable driving, the 2024 Acura RDX just does a lot of things right.
Challenging weather conditions are also easily navigated with the vehicle’s advanced torque vectoring feature, while adaptive dampers help keep the RDX planted to the road. Drive modes – comfort, normal, snow and sport - also adjust the SUV to the conditions at hand. Each mode offers different amounts of feedback, highlighted by Sport Mode, which increases firmness and corner responsiveness. There is also snow mode, which adjusts the amount of power towards the drivetrain when the weather becomes adverse.

Further, enhancing the driving experience, Acura installed variable ratio electric power and dual-pinion steering; which helps reduce resistance, especially in tight driving maneuverability areas. The iBooster braking system improves the Acura’s stopping power, while 19- and 20-inch wheel packages are available based on the trim you purchase – RDX, Technology, Advance, A-Spec or A-Spec Advance.
The Technology package is the most popular for customers, which includes an upgraded audio system, advanced navigation and attractive leather-trimmed seating. For those who need additional driving control, advance adaptive dampeners and a heads-up display, the advance package would be the one to choose.

Interior Refined
An impressive 79.8 cubic inches of interior cargo space awaits your next trip, as does a 60/40 rear-seat split. There is also underfloor storage for added room.
Greeting you on the interior is an array of ambient lighting, power-adjustable seating, heated front seats and dual-climate control. NSX-inspired suede trims the interior, while full-grain premium Milano leather seating and brushed aluminum give drivers a premium feel. The full panoramic moonroof spans the entire vehicle.
Wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, premium audio from ELS studio, while a 10.2-inch touchpad interface corresponds to a specific point on the screen. WiFi Hotspot capable, remote start, “Find My Car” and automatic collision notification are also available. Built-in Alexa gives drivers and passengers alike the ability to communicate hands-free.
Again, the aforementioned Technology Package is popular here, which includes rear-seat USB ports and 12-speaker audio system.
Acura Safety
The Acura RDX has a number of safety features helping it earn the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety ‘Top Safety Pick’ for 2023, such as road departure mitigation, adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, lane-keep assist, pedestrian detection and traffic sign recognition.
The vehicles collision mitigation braking system helps alert drivers of front impact, where the vehicle applies braking to help avoid or reduce collision impact.
An RDX has a driver covered from all sides especially with the Technology Package, which includes available blind-spot information system, rear-cross traffic monitor, surround view camera and low-speed braking control, which will bring your vehicle to a stop in low-speed environments, applying brake pressure when the system detects an incident is unavoidable.
