Kyle Larson, who started 14th in the 400-mile race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Sunday, maneuvered into the top 10 by lap 6 of the 267-lap race. The driver of the No. 5 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet reported his Camaro ZL1 was loose as the field approached green-flag pit stops. Larson stopped for four tires, fuel and a chassis adjustment at lap 36, and worked his way up to seventh before stage one ended at lap 80.

After stopping for four tires and fuel during the stage break, Larson restarted eighth before he was collected in a multi-car accident on lap 93 and finished 35th.

QUOTING KYLE LARSON:
“I obviously made an aggressive move into (turn) three; got in low, got loose and chased it up a bit. He (Bubba Wallace) got to my right front, and it got him tight and into the wall. I knew he was going to retaliate. He had a reason to be mad, but his race wasn’t over until he retaliated.”

NEXT RACE:
Larson and the No. 5 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet head to South Florida and will compete at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Sunday, Oct. 23 at 2:30 p.m. ET. The 400-mile race will be broadcast live on NBC.
