CHARLOTTE, N.C., Sept. 12, 2012 – Tim White is the winner of the Hendrickcars.com “Win a Corvette for a Year” contest that kicked off Aug. 24.

Tied into the Hendrickcars.com sponsorship of Kasey Kahne, the promotion allowed website visitors to guess the driver’s Lap 163 average speed during the Sept. 2 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Atlanta. White’s submission of 161.371 mph was closest to Kahne’s official speed of 161.400 mph.

“When I was contacted by Hendrick Automotive Group I was shaking,” White said. “I looked at my wife and said, ‘Do you remember the Hendrickcars.com contest to guess Kasey’s Lap 163 speed? I won.’ I couldn’t believe my luck. Working with everyone at Hendrick has been a great experience.”

White and his family, from just outside Seattle, are avid Hendrick Motorsports fans, particularly of Kahne who also is a native of Washington.
